This was bigger then the last and it finished Yuri's story so I was very happy.
Man, Rin was a monster as a baby lol but he was just trying to protect his family- yes, I strongly believe this. He attacked when they had baby Yukio cause his mother was screaming. He left himself wide open for that so Baby Rin was a badass protector even as a newborn. Loved this volume. So excellent!

It also explains why the argument between Rin and Fujimoto got the Father possessed by Satan in the first volume. It's ends with an emotional reunion with Father Shiro Fujimoto and Rin Rin learns more about what happened on the Blue Night.
He learned how his mother died and Father Fujimoto came to raise him and Yukio. Afterwards, he is ready to confront Yukio face to face and tell him how he feels. Then the Order learns the shocking fact that Yuri is pregnant and Satan is the father. The first of her twins to be born is Rin and he manifests the Blue Flame and begins attacking the surrounding exorcists.
Meanwhile, Satan has been immobile due to the deterioration of his body, but he's back!! As his vision of the past draws to a close, an older Rin bears witness to the tragic climax of the Blue Night.
The Knights of the True Cross are faced with an unprecedented crisis as a wave of destruction begins to sweep across the world. Although just a newborn, Rin is hugely powerful and his demon heart scourges the Knights of the True Cross with its fire. The blue flames continue to spread and no one will be spared their heat…. Ao no Exorcist Wiki Explore. Will the fan interest still be there? This is a damn good story, well-conceived and smartly written with strong characters, and as long as the manga continues indefinitely I think the fanbase will wait for another season.
And the movies I fully expect more than one will help tide them over until that happens. Not a bad last episode.
I usually avoid this genre and I never liked the theme song :p. However, overall, this anime was pretty entertaining. The anime original story was more fun for me than where the manga is at right now. Will see if anything more comes of this. I personally believe the anime was better. Honestly, everything which followed the second episode paled in comparison. The rest of the episodes never even came close. Thank you Guardian Enzo for the screencaps and summary. All I have to say about the ending is that has to be nominated for one of the most homoerotic moments in the last decade.
I was hoping for longer battle scenes and cooler techniques but….. I really liked that song they put in there in the middle of the episode. Overall was pretty good, Hopefully this series goes strong in the later years.
The first episode is brilliant, with probably the best animation of any series this season.
