People have contacted Kano. The thing is almost everyone of them read scanslations. Its a manga that is really easy to pick up on and start a continuation. But i doubt those publishers in japan will actually give it a chance…. MX0 had to have a premature end because supposedly it had low ratings in the weekly Shonen. Mx0 is one of my favorite manga all time. The End was premature. But Mx0 being cancelled was a kick in my nuts. I picked up a volume of jump at a Japanese bookstore once and Mx0 was something that really stood out to me, while flipping through the book.
This was like, years before I found it online. Does anyone think, the author might continue it in his spare time? I doubt it. Apparantly, a discontinued series rerelease is not likely. Afterall it have to go through the editors even if the author feel like drawing it again, and the editors prob will not let a discontinued series pass.
Yes, we loved the series, but japanesse did not apparently. And almost none of us contributed by buying the manga, since it was not serialized, right? Feel free to blame Naruto and Bleach! Double time all the previous posts… This is the 3rd time I have been sad enoght to cry because of damn cut. Thats so damn DUMB! Just finished yesterday wow I was hoping their would be a season 2 but nope Jump decides to f us up the a Its like an hill you keep climbing and climbing than you just drop at the top jump I hate you.
Well finished the manga a few days ago …….. I think the reason that it had a premature end was because he now lost the Magic Zero card after transferring. I love Mx0 soooooo much, I felt sad knowing that it was cut short. Not satisfied with the ending.
It is one of my favorite of course. But as much as we complain, we can't do anything about it, as most the rest of the world didn't, or rather couldn't purchase the manga, as they didnt ship it in some places, like northern Europe where I live. I am training in drawing mangas each weekends and so someday I want to continue the series take this matter in my own hands, yeah baby! Contact me at SliveryGleam gmail. I will spread some sketches at the end of this year on my youtube channel!
But when read the ending i feel like that the story have cut short badly….. Please sign this petition to bring back the sequel! Sign and share please!
And the manga ends with Lucy there, not Hiiragi Aika. You are commenting using your WordPress. Pages 2 « 1 [2]. Enzeru92 said: Im in utter denial :' im hoping for a second season or a anime adaptation that changes the ending a bit i mean its good and it could be better as a anime :. Theres not even a point of saying "what if". Never has a series been picked back up years after it was cancled.
It's never happened and it won't happen. Mx0, while being an awesome series, is too unpopular. There won't be anymore Mx0 anime. There won't be anymore Mx0 manga. There won't be anymore Mx0 anything. It's dead. Tumerking said: Theres not even a point of saying "what if". One of my favorite manga but I have not read many however. I really like how the main character had to hide his secret and think how to get out of bad situations.
Anyways if they made a anime I wish the main character was voiced by Fukuyama Jun. If anyone know some manga which have a main character with similar kind of secrets or how to say it would be great if anyone could leave a comment on my profile, thanks. Like everyone said.. Damn it this manga was awesome, why did it have to end Damn it!!!! WSJ make mistake on this Just finished it myself.. I loved it :3 Too bad it ended already..
So many unanswered questions! God, i have cancellations! StrayDog said: WTF who the fuck ends this manga ZetaAspect said: Honestly, Mx0 ends right where it needs to end; the title would no longer be relevant otherwise.
However, I would very much like to see a sequel, since Kuzumi Taiga makes a fine protagonist. It's a huge shame that WSJ canceled something as good as this, considering the drivel that can go unchecked in shounen publications. I can only hope that this gets a great anime adaptation, which might spur the creation of a sequel. On the other hand, though, without the limitations of the M0 and a persona to maintain, Kuzumi would not be as often able to show off his problem-solving skills, which for me were always the highlight of the manga.
There'll be no more "Oh, how will he manage to keep his guise up this time? Granted, I have no reason to doubt the author's ability. Here are a couple petitions to make a sequel to Mx0. Remember when in the begining he used gold plate and made cool magic? I was waiting for that again. The way it was i dropped it on 33 chapter. Faust said: yeah, it was due to poor ratings.
It was getting really good: i wish they would make a sequel. They should at least show him coming back and get somewhere with his crush!! As a result, not many post cards and letters got sent in, and WSJ dropped it. And it pisses me off.
GanonBR said: It's truly a shame. All the matters in Shounen Jump of the series populations that's all it it. Since it's on the bottom lines and haven't reach so much in population they have to cancel it. Just read this, it was one of my all-time favorites even with that ending. Is there any hope that this mangaka picks it back up and makes a sequel eventually??
I was curious what this ending was but then I see it was in shounen jump. I'm not to surprised it was ended then I feel like this series would have continued much longer if it was in a different magazine but I don't see it as a shounen really At least 4 chapters more 2 to the training and 2 for the come back of kuzumi.
Seriously I really think this is one of the cool manga out there. It's really a shame. If this will be an anime I think it would be really great. Five years later and I still can't get over the fact that this manga ended. It is one of my all time favorites. If I ever get rich I will start a manga co.
I don't think it is due to lack of fan service. I really will have to wait until I've read volume 4 to be sure. Anyways, of the three that are finished, here's my order of satisfaction:. I mentioned it in another topic too. Basically I don't like picking up novels that are unfinished or even rushed to an ending. And usually I don't even start reading new ones that haven't had a release in quite a while, there are tons of novels marked as ONGOING since years ago that I never know if they are actually finished each volume is it's own "finish" , on hiatus, dropped and so on.
If at all possible I prefer a novel that is already finished, for example I am interested in Outbreak Company but I probably won't be picking it up for a while until a good chunk of it is already translated. I remember Sam commenting about Clockwork Planet. Something about Kamiya and Himana-sensei having to match up their schedules to work on it as one of the factors for the delay.
As for the main topic I don't really feel this way or that. But ultimately, I'd just go all "That's life I guess. Metaphor for life really. Our stories are all going to be an unfinished Light Novel since we won't get to do everything while alive. LNs are not novels. LNs are parts of a serial, just as the works of Dickens and Doyle were in the late 19th century.
But it seems that the norm is for volumes to intentionally leave hanging threads and unresolved questions. If you talk about unfinished series, I always get reminded of Space Runaway ideon and Gundam X , two different mecha anime that got axed mid-production. Both settled for rushed endings although the former ended up getting a brand new epilogue movie.
Yet for some reason, there's still something satisfying about both of them. With that said, I don't mind rushed endings. I prefer things to end rather than being left hanging.
I liked BSB's premise, but I wasn't a fan of its execution. I felt it was best that the author ended it and moved on to other series. I really like Clockwork Planet so I hope it is just a back-burner side project the authors will eventually get to rather than abandoned. Taking BSB, it was setup there for a hell of a series and then we got that The afterword kind of made it okay for me, or at least understandable that the author tried to make the best of a shitty situation. It kind of was only just starting to get going as a series so cutting it off there was disappointing, but I'd be way more disappointed if it got three more volumes into a ten volume story arc then got a rush job end.
I guess in general, the longer the story, or more volumes, the less I'd accept a rushed ending. I'd rather there be a phantom final volume that never happened than some half arsed rush job for something over say ten volumes. It's not like I have the power to choose how these things work out though, so yeah "that's life" does sum it up.
Head honcho Sam works on that one. He has just been too busy to finish it. It's his New Year's Resolution to get to it.
