Spring has sprung! We at the Chamber always look forward to hosting this annual event in Springfield, and with the snow finally melting, we are looking for volunteers to assist us clean up our town after the long winter. Our aim is to encourage participants! Social distancing and masks required. Please join us and help our town reach this goal! We will be congregating in the People's United Bank parking lot from 8am to noon, and working together to spruce up the neighborhood.
Families, friends, and community members will help with raking, picking up litter, and clearing away debris. Keeping our environment clean is good for our health, good for businesses, and good for our property values. Together we build pride in our cities and towns and teach our youth about powerful civic engagement that affects climate change. Year-round we work to build awareness, generate stewardship and share the positive environmental actions of our partners.
