Aug 18th, , AM 2. If you are using the Meguiars pads you would want to use the yellow polishing pad with the ultimate compound. Its a good idea to have 2 or 3 of each pad to have on hand. Aug 18th, , PM 3. Irvine, CA nawinn meguiars. Aug 22nd, , PM 4.
Is there is a similar write up for doing it by hand? Only pea-sized drops of product are required per 18 x 18 area, and these should be worked in thoroughly at orbits per minute speed on most dual action machine polishers until only a thin film remains.

It would just take longer. EDIT: Looking at the link for the rubbing compound, it looks pretty good if you are doing it by hand. I would go with it if you are doing it by hand.
Im pretty conservitive as I dont want to remove to much clear. You want to use the least aggressive pad to get the results you want. For the glaze I use a blue CCS pad. Try to use in the shade of in a garage. I have never used Megs pads. Lake Country orange pads with UC, white pads for the Ult. Polish, then if you didnt want to hand wax, you could go with any of the "finessing" or "jeweling" pads like the black or red for a machine wax. Prolly will go with that.
Just a little scared that the orange will be too agressive. Yellow is an incredible pad. It's closed cell as is the white. I'd get both of those and a black. I use yellow on almost every car: it's that good!
